Still filling in my gallery w/ some of my older works that I think are somewhat relevant. This was basically just a picture to let me a. do a fun character design, and b. paint some water.

THe water is amazing and very well done, its aww so stylistic... I love the stones behind the man, the designs on them are awesome...

There is a jarring mix of stylization here...individually each piece works; the clouds, the stones, the water, the linear layout...but none of it fits comfortably together.

Dunno what to suggest to fix it....apart from maybe decide what your intentions are before painting,,,then stick to them and don't paint things as individual items but rather as individual items that are part of a cohesive whole.
